We believe that the internet offers great opportunities for genuinely international recruitment as it crosses borders without limits and allows information to be transferred at very high speeds. The negative aspect of the internet is the way it depersonalises recruitment. The most effective way for an employer to assess if a candidate is the right person for them and for a teacher to decide if a particular school and city will suit them is to meet face to face in an interview.
We have thus developed our site based around the use of the best career and recruitment software currently available on the market and the establishment of a network of recruitment consultants around the world who can interview teachers in those locations at short notice. We thus use the technology to establish the essential information flow between schools and teachers so both groups know what jobs are available and who is job seeking at any one time. We then use the human approach of face-to-face recruitment to help match the right people to the right jobs.
Schools can simply place direct advertising on the site and arrange to interview candidates themselves, or they can use our network of international recruitment consultants to interview on their behalves. This network of interviewers, which is growing all the time, does allow us to have the genuinely international coverage that is required for TESOL recruitment.
